A VIVID DEPICTION OF COLLAPSE

A Vivid Depiction of Collapse is the second album from metalcore band Wounded Touch. The band had seen some of my previous work and knew that they wanted to work with me on their next album. They wanted something that would resemble some of the old grunge style album artworks from the early 00’s. We explored options trying to find the best way to convey the complex ideas and emotions expressed on the album. Through iterations, we landed on a design that was evocative and expressive.

Vinyl record album cover titled 'Wounded Touch' with artwork depicting a cosmic scene, a woman's face, and geometric lines and text.

Close-up of a hand with painted nails against a dark background with digital and grunge elements, including lines, grids, and text.
Close-up of a radar screen with white geometric lines and circles over a dark background with some text and symbols.
Black long-sleeve graphic T-shirt with text and eye illustrations.
Close-up of a person's face with dramatic makeup, dark eye makeup, and face paint, partially obscured by a collage of images and text, including a sequence of eyes and a list of song titles.
